The 2023 NZ Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships were held in Palmerston North over the weekend.  Special mention must go to Luis Douglas for defending his title and winning Gold in the Para Senior Boys T20 race, and Sofia Lumbreras for her sixth place in the Senior Girls race. Congratulations to Brooke Speers who helped the East Coast North Island Year 9 Girls team win Bronze on Sunday. All HNHS students ran well against a tough field, well done!
