The Lydiard Cup & Reading Trophy Secondary Schools Athletic competition was held on Wednesday, October 26^th at Mitre 10 Hawke’s Bay Park in Hastings.

Congratulations to the following students on their respective titles and to all HNHS athletes who competed on the day and contributed to the amazing results.

Amponsaa Tabi-Amponsah  - 1st in junior girls 100m, 200m and long jump

Sofia Lumbreras  - 1st (PB) in senior girls 800m, 200m

 Karsen Vesty  - 1st in senior boys 800m and 3000m

Junior Girls 4 x 100m relay 1^st - Amponsaa Tabi-Amponsah, Mille Woodham, Hunter Avery and Neve Avery

Albert van Niekerk - 2nd in senior boys shot put and discus

Alice Hinton  - 2nd in senior girls shot put and discus

Senior girls and senior boys 4 x 100m relay teams 3rd

HNHS girls -1st and winner of the Reading Trophy for the 8th consecutive year.
