The Education Perfect Language Championships were held from March 16th to the 23rd. A total of 208,000 competitors from around the world took part in this event. HNHS students earned 21 awards.

13 Credit awards - top 20%,

 3 Bronze - top 10%,

 1 Silver – top 5%,

 2 Gold – top 2%

2 Elite – top 0.2%

To gain an Elite award you need to gain 10,000 points. Wyatt Horsfall earned an amazing 10,076 points and Emilie Horsfall earned an incredible 16,040 points. This placed her 7th in the world for Japanese and 42nd overall from 208,000 competitors.
