The HNHS Girls’ Futsal Team competed in the NZ Secondary Schools’ National Competition in Wellington at the beginning of tournament week. Havelock North High School was one of only a few schools that had the strength in futsal to be able to enter a junior and senior team. The senior girls placed a respectable 6th in the competition only losing one game. The junior girls came away with the NZ title, going through the competition unbeaten. Casey Ralph scored an impressive 21 goals throughout the tournament earning herself the “Golden Boot”, while Brooklyn McDonald was awarded the “Golden Glove”. MVP for the junior girls' team was Emily Watt.
