Havelock North High School appoints new Deputy Principal.

We are delighted to be able to announce the appointment of Glenys Sparling-Fenton as our new Deputy Principal. Glenys was first employed at Havelock North High School as an accounting teacher. Throughout her time at the school, she has worked as a House Tutor, Head of the Business Department and Principal’s Nominee. More recently, Glenys was appointed to the position of Assistant Principal. This year Glenys has been acting Deputy Principal following the departure of Maria Neville-Foster. Her permanent appointment reflects her enthusiasm and the passion she has for our school. It also reflects the high regard in which she is held by both the school and the community. Glenys was a clear choice from a field of very strong applicants. Both of Glenys’ children were educated at Havelock North High School and she is very excited about ‘being able to give back to a school which has had such an enormous impact on both my own and my children’s lives.’ Glenys is absolutely delighted to be appointed and very proud to be deputy principal of a school which not only gives all students an outstanding education but also an excellent foundation for life after school.
